Bylgja Hrönn Björnsdóttir
Partner - IP Attorney
Bylgja joined Tego as a Partner in 2016. She is an IP Attorney with over 13 years’ experience of working with IPR and is an experienced practitioner both before the Icelandic authorities and the EUIPO (European Intellectual Property Office).
Bylgja has worked extensively with a versatile range of client´s from different business sectors in forming and executing their IPR strategy. These include clients working within the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and travel industry sectors to name a few. Her expertise extends to trademark rights, design rights, domain rights, marketing practices, protection of know-how, licenses, franchises and topics related to these subjects.
She has a BA in Political Science from the University of Iceland and completed a Master of Law degree from the Reykjavik University in 2009.
Bylgja is a Member of INTA.
